Celia, her friend of Jerome spent 2 weeks at home. She loves art and culture, she offered us with Ariel, a friend to go to watch a singaporean film.

I was quite interested in watching it for several reasons.

1/ I have been living in Singapore for almost one year and i have never been to watch a singaporean film. I know it is strange but there are very few…

2/ Usually, we go to a multiplex cinema and I wanted to change and see this cinema located on the Mount Sophia(this place is well named when I see the upstairs, it was huge, isn’t it Ariel?)

3/ For my culture

The cinema is located on a school of arts. When we enter in the room it was great because no crowd and we could have a seat on the fantastic red sofa. I can tell it was the most confortable cinema that I have never seen in my life!

However, when the film began, a big surprise, it was so boring : very long sequences, few dialogues. It was quite confusing because in the same scene, a same character was interpreted by several actors and so slow. Nothing happened! It was terrible because I was so tired that I fell asleep. But I was not the only one : the film lasted 2hours…

Fortunately, at the end, the productor came to explain and we aked some questions. Thanks to this exchange I have understood a little bit the objective of his film. He was very friendly.

Next time, we will try again the experience but it would better to see the sypnosis before…
